Scar Camouflage

Scar camouflage is a paramedical tattoo procedure that aims to blend discoloured scar tissue in with the surrounding, healthy skin. We undertake an extensive consultation process to assess your scar and understand it’s history in order to create a personalised treatment plan.

What is a scar?

A scar is a spot where fibrous connective tissue has formed as a result of physical trauma to the skin. Scars can form in many different shapes and sizes and heal to different hues.

While the appearance of a scar may reduce as it ages it will never completely disappear.

Scars often hold a lot of emotional significance and for some the reminders a scar holds can take a toll on their self confidence, self image and overall mental health.

How can i correct or cover up a scar?

Scar camouflage offers a long lasting solution to discoloured scars. Specialised pigments are custom mixed to match your skin tone, we then gently implant the pigment into the scar tissue creating a seamless transition between your healthy skin and the scar tissue.

While scar camouflage cannot change the texture of your skin it will offer a concealed appearance and a scar that will no longer stand out.
