Multiple things can impact the success of your tattoo procedure including but not exclusive to supplement, medication, caffein and alcohol intake, use of nicotine, other beauty services and pre existing medical conditions.

How do I prepare for Cosmetic Tattoo?

Things To avoid

Consumables (within 24 hours)

  • Iboprofen & Asprin

  • Alcohol

  • Nicotine

  • Caffein

  • Vitamin supplements and protein shakes/bars

Beauty treatments (within a week)

  • Any waxing or shaving of the treatment area

  • Hair or skin tints

  • Laser hair removal

  • Suntanning or solarium tanning

Beauty Treatments (within a month)

  • Botox anywhere near the treatment area

  • Dermal fillers in the treatment area

  • Chemical peels

  • Retinol/Retin-A

  • Anti-aging and acne creams or serums that contain acids

Right before your appointment

  • Avoid excessive exercise and/or sweating

  • Do not apply makeup

  • Wash your face with a gentle, foam cleanser if possible

  • Do not apply moisturiser or serums

  • Bring legal Photo Identification

  • Ensure you are well hydrated and have eaten within the last few hours.

  • Feel free to bring along images and references presenting your desired outcome.
